Couldn’t manage to do “J” on the Animal Alphabet today. Here is a very small watercolor of wildflowers in an old medicine bottle. It’s on a piece of handmade paper. No, I didn’t make the paper, not that I haven’t considered it!
I is for Iguana.
H is for Hog!
G is for Giraffe!
C is for Cat!
B is for Bear. I’ve decided to start an animal alphabet.
A is for Armadillo. The only attractive thing about this animal is the pattern on its armour. Without getting too fussy and detailed I used a white crayon to make some marks that resemble the pattern and then watercolored over that. It sort of worked. It’s very hard to see the white crayon on the white paper.
Another plant flowering now.
Happy Fourth of July!
